Good morningeveryoneThank all of you for giving me this opportunity to let me stand here and give a speechTodaythe title of my speech is Be Grateful to life
RecentlyI found many friends were very upsetWhen I asked what’s wrong with themsome of them told me the midterm exam is comingand they are afraid of failing in itSome said as the spring has camethey got infectious disease unfortunatelySome even expressed to me that their hearts were hurt by someone and they were disappointed in love affairs
I think everyone here today aslo have these unpleasant experiencesit’s surely to us that life never goes smoothlyAnd sometimes things happen to you seem horiblepainfuland unfair at firstbut I think later you will find that without overcoming those difficulties you would have never realized your potentialstrengthwillpower and true feeling in your heartEverything happens for a reasonSojust be grateful to all of themIllnessinjurylovefailure in the exams or brilliant achievements all occur to test the limits of your soulBe grateful to themwithout these small testswhatever they may belife would be like a smoothlystraightflat road to nowhereIt would be safe and comfortablebut dullboringand completely pointless
Being grateful is an important philosophy of life and a great wisdomIt is impossible for anyone to be lucky and successful all the timeWe should learn how to face failure and misfortune bravely and try to deal with itIf soshould we complain about our life and become disappointedShouldn’t we be grateful to our life and rise again ourselves when have some unpleasant experiencesAfamous proverb said
Life is a mirrorWhen you smile in front of itit will also smile and so will it when you cry to itIf you are grateful to lifeit will bring you shining sunlightIf you always complain about everythingyou may own nothing in the end
I think we should even be grateful to life whenever we are unsuccessful or unluckyOnly by doing this can we find our weakness and shortcomings when we failWe can also get relief and warmth when we are unluckyThis can help us find our courage to overcome the difficulties we may faceand receive great energy to move onWe should treat our frustration and misfortune in other wayWe should be grateful all the time and keep having a healthy attitude to our life foreverBeing grateful is not only a kind of comfortnot an escape from life and nor thinking of winning in spirit like Ah QBeing grateful is a way to sing for our life which comes just from our love and hopeBeing grateful can bring us a better and more beautiful life

Be grateful to the examit makes you study hard in a period of time and know the importance of learning in the peacetime at least
Be grateful to the diaseaseit lets you know how fortunate when you are healthy
Be grateful to the people you meet who affect your lifebe grateful to the success and downfallsbecause they help to create who you are and who you becomeEven the bad experiences can be learned fromIn factthey are probably the deepest and most important ones
Be grateful to those people who hurt youbetray youor break your heartjust forgive themfor they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when you open your heart
Be grateful to those people who love youlove them back unconditionallynot only because they love youbut because in a waythey are teaching you how to love and how to open your heart to things
Make every day countAppreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly canfor you may never be able to experience it againTalk to people that you have never talked to beforeand actually listen to themLet yourself fall in lovebreak freeand set your singhts highHold your head up because you have every right toTell yourself you are a great person and believe in yourselffor if you don’t believe in yourselfit will hard for others to believe in youAnd the most important isbe grateful to life
