My Reflections after Reading What Is Poverty’
What is poverty I keep asking myself after reading the essay with sorrow and sympathy As far as I am concerned poverty both has merits and demerits
Poverty may bring life more suffering and misery and become an obstacle to the distressed according to the author Certainly if we are in the state of poverty we have to face the sour milk spoiling food and longcooked onions like what is described in the passage because of lack of money What is more it is impossible for us to buy our favorite clothes travel around world and have fun with friends
As is known to all many poor families in Africa can’t afford their life It is a kind of common phenomenon that children with hunger there often have
infectious diseases and may even die of acute hunger More serious is that hunger may cause the high rate of crime for they have no money but they want to survive When you put yourself in their dirty worn out shoes you will feel their tears pain and despair
However poverty is a fortune to some extent For one thing holding much money cannot make a person have a real sense of happiness In the long run wealth is like health its utter absence can breed misery but having it doesn’t guarantee happiness
For another poverty will compel you to strive for your ambition and achieve wealth and success Abraham Lincoln was born in a poor family and suffered a lot from poverty But he became the president of United States of America
Undoubtedly poverty has become a motivation of his accomplishment
What is poverty It is a choice not a destiny You choose to own your life like what maybe you will be poor in your lifetime or you put an end to the poverty with persistence and efforts
What do girl students look for in love and life
Nowadays along with the constant disaster and fluctuant economy what do girl students look for in love and life
As is plotted in the first graph personality is what girl students look for first in a boyfriend Abilities and common interest and goals account for 27 and 17 respectively Based on these data we can conclude that what girls look for in love is not something extrinsic but intrinsic parts Given the current situation in the society girls need boyfriends who can make them have a sense of security Therefore economic status and appearance turn to be minor factors
And according to the second pie marriage and family is 682 Some other elements are career money and other Considering what is shown above we know that deciding whether the life is happy or not largely depends on a perfect marriage and family
In conclusion intrinsic parts such as personality and abilities and marriage and family are what girl students look for most in love and life
