Richard was very spoilt and completely selfcentered His parents gave him everything he wanted knowing that he would throw a temper tantrum(耍孩脾气) if they did not he would scream and kick and lie on the floor drumming his heels His parents always gave in and they gave him unlimited allowance to meet his requirements making him into a little prince.
It was an usual day Richard and his parents went to the beach to spend their holiday On their way to the seaside they passed a store where Richard noticed a cool swimsuit and he was fond of it insisting on buying it regardless of its high price His parents tried to persuade him not to but in vain Finally they had no choice but to satisfy him
Later they were back at the beachhouse recovering from another tantrum Richard had thrown when they told him that it was too dangerous to go diving alone Dangerous? he shouted You just don't want me to have fun Nothing can stop me His parents sighed but they have no more energy to have another argument with him That was why Richard was alone on the beach wearing an expensive swimsuit which has taken a massive tantrum to get his parents to buy it
What are you doing here my boy? a voice asked Richard was surprised He did not know that the man was there until he spoke I'm going diving he answered pointing at his swimsuit Haven't you noticed that? You shouldn't swim today the man advised There is a storm coming up It is dangerous to swim here You should mind your own business Richard replied and walked into the gentle waves Look The sea is so peaceful nowListen to me young man you'll be sorry for your stubbornness the man called after him
