Discuss the questions in groups Divide the class into groups of three or four to finish the taskAfter several minutes let some students come to the front to show the answers
Step 2Listening
Listen to the tape and answer the following questions

What does Li Ming hope to do？
What does Li Ming love to do？
Finish the task in class in oral
Step 3Reading
Read the text and answer the following questions
What is Li Ming going to be in the future？
What gives Li Ming confidence to speak English？

Finish the task in class in oral
Step 4Activities
Read the text again and let the students retell the passage in their own words Don’t read the passageLet them sum the main idea of the report
