Step 1Lead－in
Lead in by discussing the following questions：
Are you proud of yourself？
What are you good at？
What makes you different from others？
Discuss the questions in groups The teacher shows some pictures about different personsAsk the students to talk for three minutesThen let them present the answers in class
Step 2Listening
Listen to the tape and answer the questions：
What does Li Ming want to get from Jenny？
How does Li Ming like the report？
What does Jenny tell Li Ming to write about？
Finish the task in class in oral
Step 3Reading
Read the dialogue and decide if the statements are true or false
Li Ming needs to describe himself in a report
Li Ming has a lot of friends
Jenny thinks wring special talents and personal strengths are too hard
Finish the task in class in oral
Step 4Activities
1Introduce your personal strengths What do you do well in？How do you do with it？Make a dialogue between three or four studentsThen present it in front of the class
2Work with your partner Write a letter to each other to introduce your talents

something about your talent and strengthPractice for a whileThen let some students read their notes in front of the class
